Valentine’s Day is here and we are ready for something sweet! Use this Valentine’s Day worksheet to complete the following speech and language activities.
-
What Do You See?
Take a look at the picture. What sweet treats can you spot? Point to the items and describe them (Ex: “I see a chocolate box! What do you see?”)
Possible answers: chocolates, hearts, flower, bow, chocolate chip cookie, etc.
-
Pick the Target Sound
Cut the chocolates and repeat the target sound three times as you glue each piece onto the candy box.
For example: If your sound is /s/, say “s-s-sweet!” or for /p/, say “p-p-pink!”
-
Sweet Talk Time!
What’s your favorite type of candy or chocolate? If you could make a new candy, what would it taste like? What shape would it be?
-
What Happens Next?
Finish the story by writing or saying what happens next: “Joey was very hungry and ate an entire box of chocolates.”
What happens after Joey eats all the chocolates? (Example: “Joey got a bellyache!”)
