Summer is here! No more pencils… No more books… Long hours of homework have been replaced by long days playing outside, swimming,
and staying up late! While summer is a chance for children to take a much-needed break from school and schoolwork, many children
who don’t engage in any learning activities during the summer find they have forgotten things or have fallen behind their
classmates once the new school year begins. During summer break, parents can help their children maintain skills learned during
the year. Providing your children with fun, engaging activities is a great way to make practicing skills more enjoyable and less
of a “chore” during summer break! Here is a fun Summer Crossword Puzzle that parents and children can work on together to practice
vocabulary, critical thinking, memory skills, and more!
